Privilege, Power & Conflict

When engaging in conflict, understanding one's own social location, and that of others, better enables us to collaborate with the goal of equity for all participants. In this course, learners will explore the realities of colonization and how today's social, political, economic, and environmental factors foster explicit and implicit oppressions. Learners will explore their own social location and reflect on how to create an authentic, creative conflict resolution process that considers their own and others' positions of privilege and power.

Online registration in this course is open to students enrolled in a program through the Centre for Conflict Resolution. Students who would like to complete this course without enrolling in a program can make this request by contacting the Program Area
