Course Details

This course will explore terrorism and border security in relation to inter-professional cooperation between law enforcement and other public safety agencies. Learners will investigate the global history of terrorism and review its ideologies. Learners will also take inventory of its various forms in contemporary society including terrorism 'in the name of faith' and cyber-terrorism. Furthermore, issues regarding border integrity, immigration, and extradition orders/treaties will be discussed around international law enforcement cooperation .
