Course Details

Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, a SAR volunteer or required to spend time in the wilderness as part of your work, this course is for you. Learn from the experts and increase your survival skills by participating in an overnight wilderness survival scenario where you will practice shelter building techniques, fire starting and signalling. Other topics include predator awareness, food and water collection, appropriate clothing and equipment, basic travel and personal waste disposal. (Formerly SAR172)
