Substance Use

This course explores the nature of substance use in society and in particular, looks at the complexities of substance use experienced by youth. Part 1 of the course is comprised of the Problematic Substance Use course offered to all Ministry of Children and Family Development employees. Part 2 of the course provides specific information for youth probation officers and resources to create effective service plans for youth with substance use issues.

This course is available to Ministry of Children and Family Development employees who are enrolled in the youth probation officer training program.
