Course Details
Students will use and apply theory behind the interaction and implication of human behaviour between individuals and groups within organizations. Key areas of study are individual behaviour and how it is influenced by values, attitudes, personality and emotion; communication and motivation in human behaviour; how teams work; survey of leadership; the role of politics and power, and conflict and negotiation; recognizing organizational culture and its relationship to change management. Through case study analysis students will better predict and understand events occurring within an organization, challenge and refine personal theories of reality, and have a more positive and dramatic influence on activities and events that transpire within the organization.
