Mod 1&2 Facilitation for Trainers - Nunavut Corrections

This train-the-trainer course will build on the skills learned in CORR-1411 Facilitation and Presentation Skills - Nunavut Corrections. Participants will have the opportunity to enhance and develop their skills and knowledge to successfully facilitate the Modules of the Nunavut Corrections Security Training (NCST), specifically Module 1 - Orientation and Module 2 - Institutional Safety and Security.

Participants will review important topics such as learning styles and will have the opportunity to assess their own ability to successfully deliver training. This course will provide students with an opportunity to develop their skills by delivering both static classroom based lessons and dynamic handcuffing portions of the NCST Modules using a variety of methods to ensure all learning styles are considered.
