Course Details

In this course, you will develop a framework for online course delivery and gain insight into approaches and methodologies that advance the online learning experience for both learner and instructor. By the end of this course, you will be able to identify best practices and methodologies for online learning; identify and apply techniques to engage online learners; understand the dynamics of the three dimensions of effective online learning; and apply effective communication skills and strategies to online learning. This course is suitable for instructors who are new to online teaching or want to develop better online facilitation skills. This course can be used in the Instructor Development Certificate program, and the Certificate in Advanced Facilitation and Consultation. (Formerly INDC130)
