Capstone: Collaborative Conflict Resolution

This course is your opportunity to focus on your identified areas of challenge and growth, as you join with other advanced conflict resolution learners in a peer-to-peer learning community over four days. The capstone's clinic format emphasizes articulating the intent behind your actions, and reflecting in the moment in immersive practice as you review, refine and apply your understanding of the program's theories, skills and approaches. Working with your real-life conflict situations, you will deepen your understanding of how your presence and empathic connection, balanced with respectful assertion, can amplify your orientation to collaboration. You will integrate emotional intelligence, conscious presence and reflection into your practice.

Feedback from peers and faculty will help you examine your blind spots and assumptions and, by doing so, will foster your integration of theory and skills with your personal orientation to collaborative practice. Scheduling for this five day course may vary per offering.
