Bail and Detention Before Sentencing

This course was designed to provide specific knowledge and skills regarding bail and detention before sentencing, including relevant sections of the Youth Criminal Justice Act and Criminal Code. There is an emphasis on the role of the community youth probation officer in the delivery of pre-trial services in BC. This course is only available to Ministry of Children and Family Development employees, as identified in their Youth Probation Training Plan.
