The JIBC Future 40 Bursary provides support for students in financial need in an eligible degree, diploma, or certificate program of 10 credits or more at JIBC.
The bursary is funded through the JIBC Future 40 Endowment which was established with generous donations from JIBC employees and students, individuals, corporations and organizations to provide a permanent source of support for students in financial need. The endowment was created as part of the JIBC Future 40 Campaign held during the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s 40th Anniversary year from April 2018 to March 2019.

Five awards of $1,000 available annually.
Eligibility Criteria
- Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
- Open to students enrolled in an eligible degree, diploma, or certificate program of 10 credits or more; and
- Must demonstrate financial need not met by other available sources of funding, including student loans, grants, sponsorship, work income, etc.
