Kathryn McNaughton’s career has been characterized by a lifelong commitment to supporting others to learn and grow. Her roles have included teacher, university educator, and educational administrator. Currently, she is a Certified Executive Coach focusing on working with people in post-secondary leadership roles. She began her career working with young children and their families, then shifted her focus to adults in early childhood education settings, and later progressed to senior instructional and administrative positions in colleges and universities.

She is a former faculty member of the Faculty of Education at the University of Regina and has served in senior leadership roles at Thompson Rivers University, University College of the North, Red River College and Vancouver Community College. She has also worked in China, Trinidad and Tobago, the U.S. and Zambia.

Ms. McNaughton is a graduate of the Institute for Child Studies at the University of Toronto. She also holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Alberta, a PhD in elementary and early childhood education and teaching from Arizona State University, a graduate certificate in Certified Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, and a Change Management Certificate from Cornell University.
