English Language Proficiency
International students applying to JIBC must demonstrate an acceptable level of English language proficiency. Prospective students should familiarize themselves with JIBC's minimum requirements, which are detailed in:
Testing Options
Applicants whose first language is not English may meet English proficiency requirements by taking one of the following English Language proficiency tests. The assessment may involve reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The minimum score required can differ depending on the program.

We offer opportunities for students to satisfy our English Language Proficiency admission requirements by improving their English skills at one of our internationally-acclaimed ESL partners through articulated pathways. These pathways allow students to seamlessly enter JIBC, without having to take any additional English entrance test.
