About the Event
Applied research is in the spotlight, from posters to presentations, as students, staff and faculty share the results of their latest research projects.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m. with poster presentations of research projects available for viewing in the Atrium and CL120 and CL122. JIBC researchers and students will be available to answer questions.
Then the presentations move to the Theatre at 2 p.m. with a welcome and opening, followed by student presentations at 2:20 p.m.
"Speed research" will be presented by several students from the following programs:
- Bachelor of Law Enforcement Studies
- Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Law Enforcement Studies
- Bachelor of Emergency and Security Management
- Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Disaster Management
Then at 3:05 p.m., there will be three 15-minute presentations on research projects by staff and faculty, followed by the naming of winners of the Student Project Prize Awards.
