About the Event

Consent Awareness Week is a dedicated time to deepen our understanding of consent, promote respectful interactions, and foster healthy relationships within our community. This week, we invite students, faculty, and staff to participate in events that explore what consent truly means and how we can all contribute to a culture of respect and mutual understanding.

Event Schedule

Tuesday, September 17: MythBusters: Exploring Consent
11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Atrium

Join us for an interactive MythBusters game where we’ll dive into common misconceptions about consent. This is a great opportunity to challenge myths, gain clarity, and engage in meaningful conversations about what consent looks and sounds like in everyday life.

Thursday, September 19: Workshop on Consent & Healthy Relationships
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
📍 AD 128

Building respectful and healthy relationships is essential, and understanding consent is a critical part of that process. Attend our workshop to learn about the dynamics of consent, how to communicate effectively, and how to foster connections that are both respectful and healthy. This workshop is open to everyone—whether you’re looking to learn for yourself or to support others.

Friday, September 20: FRIES Giveaway & Consent Education
