Course Details

This 14-hour workshop focuses on the principles of adult education for those offering Ground Search and Rescue training to community volunteers in Alberta. Participants will learn about adult education, developing learning outcomes, lesson plan development, presentation/facilitation skills, and approaches to learner feedback. A component will focus on participants designing, delivering, and receiving feedback on individual SAR lessons. Participants must be proficient in basic ground search and rescue techniques.
