Course Details

In this course individuals currently licensed as Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) with intravenous (IV) license endorsements or recently trained at the PCP level will apply the knowledge learned in the PCP Scope Theory M292 & M244 course and develop core competence performing skills as per the 2022 Ministerial Order M292 and 2024 Ministerial Order M244 scope of practice changes. Students will integrate new knowledge and skills to their current practice and be prepared to deliver patient care at the PCP level. Administrative note: To be suitable for this course students should have previous education in Primary Care Paramedicine, either a recent graduate or licensed to practice as an Emergency Medical Assistant with a Primary Care Paramedic scope of practice. Prior to the course start date you will be contacted and asked to clarify your experience and education. If you do not have the suitable experience to take the course you may be required to withdraw and will be issued a full refund.
