Course Details

This course examines the pathophysiology, recognition and treatment of patients presenting with traumatic injuries, including the exploration of injuries to the head, neck and spinal cord, chest, abdomen and upper and lower extremities. Students will employ clinical decision-making strategies to perform a focused patient assessment, generate a differential and provisional diagnosis, and develop an appropriate treatment and transport plan for patients.
