Course Details

This course examines the pathophysiology, recognition and treatment of patients presenting with conditions related to body systems, including neurologic, immunologic, gastrointestinal, endocrine, genitourinary, as well as emergencies surrounding toxicology and reproductive medicine. Students will employ clinical decision-making strategies to perform a focused patient assessment, generate differential and provisional diagnosis, and develop treatment and transport plans for patients in a pre-hospital setting.
