Course Details

This course examines the recognition, pathophysiology, and treatment of patients presenting with cardiac and respiratory conditions. Students will employ clinical decision-making strategies to perform a focused patient assessment, generate differential and provisional diagnosis, and develop an appropriate treatment and transport plan. Students will acquire the knowledge, skills and judgment to create and execute pre-hospital treatment plans for patients presenting with cardiac and respiratory conditions.
