Course Details

This advanced coaching course will both broaden and deepen participants' ability to coach others through challenging situations. Expanding their conflict coaching skill box, coaches will learn how to work with strong emotions related to conflicts and examine the impact of face-saving, resistance, and power dynamics within the context of their conflict conversations. Self-management, empathic responsiveness and accuracy, and attention to goals focus will be discussed as integral to creating effective resolutions. You will have the option to record your role-play on the final day of the course.

Online registration in this course is open to students enrolled in a program through the Centre for Conflict Resolution. Students who would like to complete this course without enrolling in a program can make this request by contacting the Program Area
