Working at various levels in the justice system in BC and throughout Canada, the Corrections & Court Services Division trains court administrators and community justice professionals such as adult and youth probation officers, correctional officers and youth supervisors. The Corrections Academy trains correctional and probation officers.
Our advanced driving courses save lives and prevent injuries by enhancing skills and producing better drivers. The Driver Education Centre provides opportunities to learn and practice new skills for professional drivers, and for employers interested in reducing work-related crashes.
The Justice & Public Safety Division offers accredited academic and customized training programs in intelligence analysis for public and private sector clients teaching a wide range of skills for investigations, inspections and analyses.

Our Police Academy trains all municipal police recruits for BC and provides advanced training, including online courses, for municipal police officers.

The Corrections & Court Services Division trains court administrators and community justice professionals, such as probation officers, corrections professionals and sheriffs. At the Sheriff Academy, sheriff recruits gain the essential skills and qualifications needed to work as a deputy sheriff.
