The Okanagan Campus
After many years in Kelowna, JIBC Okanagan is on the move!
Starting in September 2025, JIBC Okanagan will begin offering programs and courses at the Okanagan College Vernon campus. For continuing students, JIBC will continue to have a presence in Kelowna through the fall.

JIBC students have access to campus housing in Vernon through Okanagan College Housing, offering convenient, affordable accommodations for students.
Applications are now open!
Studio Room:
Room includes a double XL bed, a kitchen with a fridge, stove, oven, and microwave, and a desk with a desk chair. The bathroom features a standing shower, toilet, and sink. The sitting area includes a couch and coffee table.
Shared Space:
Amenities include laundry facilities, common and study spaces, and bicycle storage.

Vernon is an outdoor enthusiast and agricultural hub centrally located in the Okanagan Valley in B.C. The campus has stunning views of Kalamalka Lake.

JIBC students can access the Fitness Centre by visiting the Vernon Administration in the A building to pay a one-time $10 fee for ongoing access. The adjacent Greater Vernon Athletics Park has a synthetic running track that is free to use.

Closed
All JIBC campuses are closed on the following statutory holidays: New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas and Boxing Day. Campuses are also closed between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
