Types of Positions
There is a wide variety of work performed at JIBC. Roles are generally categorized into three main areas: Instructional/Teaching, Managerial, and Support.
Employees in instructional and managerial positions belong to our Fair Comparison group. The terms of employment for Fair Comparison employees are set out in the Fair Comparison Handbook.
Employees in support positions at JIBC are represented by the BC Government and Services Employees Union (BCGEU).
