As a member of the JIBC community, you are expected to abide by Canadian Copyright Law. JIBC Library supports faculty and staff by providing education and guidance on the application of copyright law to facilitate teaching and research.

Copyright Services
The Library offers the following services:
- Copyright sessions for faculty and staff (monthly except for July, August, and December)
- Consultations - Work through your copyright questions one-on-one. Bring your course lists, websites or other work you need guidance on
- Permission requests assistance
- Assistance with publishing open access, copyright registration, and obtaining CIPs and ISBN/ISSNs for publications
- Referral to resources
